Evan A. Thomas

Evan Thomas is based in the firm’s Tampa office, focusing on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, and appellate matters. Known for his strategic approach and commitment to delivering results, Evan brings a strong legal foundation and a proven ability to resolve challenging legal issues effectively.

He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law, graduating in the top five of his class. During law school, Evan received multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for earning the highest grades in Business Organizations, Legal Skills and Values II, Professional Responsibility, and International Commercial Arbitration. He also served as Vice President of the Trial Team and was an active member of the Moot Court team.

Evan began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted a broad range of criminal cases and led numerous jury and bench trials. He later joined Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, P.A. as an Associate Attorney, gaining extensive experience in civil litigation, including discovery and client advisement on liability exposure.

Evan is dedicated to providing strategic legal solutions and is driven by a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his clients.
